Quotes
Quotes do not guarantee a commission slot, a slot can only be guaranteed once 40% of the commission price has been deposited first.
Ordering
We are a first-come, first-serve, business; unless money is paid for expediting your commission.
Clients must be over the age of 18 in order to get a commission with us. Parents/Legal Guardians are more than welcome to commission us in the place of a minor. We will ask for ID if we believe you are under the age of 18.
We may hold a commission slot up to a week, but reserve the right to cancel your slot if not paid for by the end of the week, or if slots are in high demand.
For a slot, we require a reference sheet that shows the front, back, and possibly sides of the character, with the arms, legs, tail, and any extras being clearly shown.
Once we get to the furring process, no physical design changes can be made to the suit.
Payments
A 40% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to guarantee a commission spot. You can make payments of $200 or more in a discussed payment plan until payment is complete.
EX: A commission is $1000, a 40% down payment would be $400. Payments of $200 until payment is in full.
Monthly payments are only required when progress has been made on your commission.
EX: Down Payment made in January, which covers that month. As of February, if no progress is shown through the month to you, payment is not required for that month. If progress is shown, payment is required before further work is done.
Payments are accepted through Paypal or Square.
We offer a 20% discount for those in the military or who served in the military, ID for proof is needed.
We will not send out any product until paid in full.
Refunds
No refunds are available for the 40% deposit.
If the commission is cancelled part way through completion of the suit, no refund will be issued; but if shipping is paid, we will send what we have completed of the commission so far.
If a year goes past the discussed completion without any communication from you, we will consider the commission to be abandoned, and no refund will be given.
If a year goes past our last communication about the commission including the discussed commission, we will consider the commission to be abandoned, and no refund will be given.
Work in Progress
We work very closely with our clients, we like to give weekly to biweekly updates after a project has been started unless unforeseen circumstances occur.
We will send links, or if necessary, physical fur samples to our clients in order to get approval.
Please keep in mind that not all fur colors or fabric colors are available, and we will do our best to match.
Deadlines
We do not have guaranteed deadlines, just completion estimates.
CoyoteYoteCreations is a small business, and situations can come up which can push estimates further back.
If you fail to make payments or fail to provide items that we need from you, this could cause delays in construction of your suit.
EX: Machines can break down, Electricity can go out, Artist(s) can get sick or injured, etc.
Shipping
Shipping will be through USPS, Fedex, or UPS.
Any sort of expedited shipping will be an extra cost paid by the client.
Shipping is a completely separate charge.
Anything that breaks, becomes damaged, or needs an adjustment, we offer free repairs for up to a year after the suit has been made, all expenses are covered except the shipping to us. We will cover the shipping back to you.
Repairs
We charge for repairs once the suit is over a year old, modifications needing to be done to your suit will result in extra fees.
Please make sure your suit is CLEAN before sending it back to us for repairs. If not, you will be charged a $100 cleaning fee.If bodily fluids are found in the suit, you will be charged a $300 cleaning fee.
Wear is normal on all clothing, including suits, so please keep in mind that it will not last forever. But if you find us at a convention, we can fix any rips or other small issues. Feel free to message us on any of our socials with any concerns!
Sizing
A properly made DTD and correct measurements will make it easy for us to make a suit fit just for you. We are not responsible for poor sizing if you provide incorrect measurements or a poor quality DTD.
